Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our solutions and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Due to increased demand for our innovative solutions, we are looking for two new IT Architects for our Service Hosting Department.
You will become a part of a growing global team of IT Specialist, Project Managers and IT Architects. The team is responsible for the global platforms powering Kamstrup’s software as a service offerings for intelligent metering solutions. We have an informal tone and value collaboration highly.
A job with a technical responsibility and customer contact
In the role as IT Architect, you will participate in Kamstrup’s bid process, clarifying solution designs, providing cost estimates etc. Occasionally, you may also participate in customer meetings, where you will use your experience to communicate Kamstrup’s solutions to our customers. You will be a key player in the continued development and scaling of our cloud platforms to accommodate Kamstrup’s enormous growth, and you will be a key player in the shaping the platforms of new solutions.
You will have close collaboration with competent IT Specialists and Architects within your team, external partners, the customers’ hosted/IT organization and Kamstrup’s project and development teams.
More specifically you will:
- Create, implement and communicate the platform and infrastructure architecture of large systems
- Perform technical project management
- Develop and execute a hybrid cloud strategy
- Ensure a broad focus on enterprise architecture to create an overall consolidation of hosted services and platforms
- Guide the transition of the hosting team from server-based operation to GitOps
- Ensure that we consider IT security in everything we do
Personality matters
In the job as IT Architect you will interact with customers, partners and many different teams within Kamstrup, communicating your knowledge and expertise. As a person you therefore master the art of creating relations and thrive in an outgoing role. Furthermore, you are responsible, structured and manage to keep the overview during simultaneous projects.
There are several professional entry points to this position, but we imagine that you have an educational background as a computer scientist, engineer or similar – preferably with experience from a similar role.
Furthermore, it will be an advantage if you have competencies and experiences within one or more of the following:
- Cloud technologies such as Azure Hybrid Cloud and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
- CI/CD and GitLab
- Security (SIEM, IDS/IPS, CIS, server hardening)
- The Windows Server platform
- MS Active Directory, ADFS and Azure Active Directory
- Linux
- TCP/IP Network and IPSEC VPN
- System management
You are fluent in both written and spoken English. Danish will be an asset.
