Environmental Workers
Duties include: Cutting hedges; Cutting/Strimming grass; Sweeping and Digging Weeds; Spraying; Other general duties relating to the environment that will include maintenance of buildings e.g. paintings etc.; Keep work areas neat and clean; Maintaining and watering flowers and shrubs.
Care and Maintenance of Football Pitches includes the cutting and marking and care of GAA grounds.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Age: You must generally be between 21 and 55 years old.
- Unemployed Status: You must be unemployed.
- Social Welfare Payment: You need to have been receiving a qualifying social welfare payment in Ireland for at least 12 months.
- Examples of Qualifying Payments: Jobseeker's Benefit (JB), Jobseeker's Allowance (JA), Jobseeker's Transitional Payment (JST), One-Parent Family Payment, Deserted Wife's Benefit, and Widow's, Widower's or Surviving Civil Partner's Pension.
Other Ways to Qualify (Exceptions and Specific Circumstances):
- Aged 55 and Over: You must have been receiving a qualifying social welfare payment for 12 months.
- Disability Payments: Individuals receiving Disability Allowance, Blind Pension, or Invalidity Pension may be eligible.
- Traveller or Roma Community: Members of the Traveller or Roma community can qualify.
- Qualified Adult (QA) on a CE Scheme Pilot: As part of a pilot scheme, QAs on their spouse, partner, or cohabitant's Jobseekers Allowance claim may be eligible.
