Do you have extensive experience from a cross-functional role that integrates Business with IT? Then join the LEGO Group to take on a dynamic role as trusted advisor, where you work in the interface between Operations and Corporate IT (CIT). Drive and facilitate collaboration between business units and CIT As our new Director for Business Relations, you become responsible for bridging CIT with the Operations organisation. You act as a single point of contact between the business leadership and CIT to facilitate the creation of business cases related to prioritised projects and maximise value. More concretely, you: Are responsible for building and maintaining the pipeline of IT projects in close cooperation with Operations leadership teams Help define and prioritise IT projects - to deliver sustainable solutions that match the needs of the Operations organisation on strategic, tactical and operational level Join the CIT Operations global leadership team, consisting of eight people, and contribute significantly to setting a direction and developing the global CIT Operations organisation Make an impact across the organisation In this role, you will have a massive impact on a European, family-owned business that offers a supportive and collaborative network. Quickly, you will get a thorough understanding of our international business as a partner to stakeholders in the entire organisation. You will have 3-5 direct reports and join the Corporate IT Operations of 110 dedicated LEGO® Employees located in China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Mexico, Singapore and the USA. The role is currently located within Denmark, but could be located elsewhere. Regardless of the location, you should expect 30-45 travelling days pr. year A combination of solid IT and business understanding and experience The challenge here is to function as a proactive and trusted advisor through a holistic view of how business and IT interacts. Thus, you need to use your deep insight into needs and requirements to find the right business solutions as well as your ability to get buy-in on these solutions. So, you feel comfortable with facilitating compromises and prioritising on all levels of an organisation, as you will be joining a highly dynamic working environment. To succeed, you: Hold an academic degree in IT, Engineering or a business related field like Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing Have 5-10 years of experience from a similar role, where you have worked in the cross-functional zone between IT and Business, preferably supply chain related in a global organisation Exhibit a very good understanding of IT, understand both business processes and technical IT terms, and any knowledge of platforms like SAP & Team Center is an advantage Are comfortable engaging with senior leaders on Corporate Management level and leadership experience is an advantage, but not a requirement Are an extrovert, who creates strong trusting relationships through dialogue and results - and you speak and write English fluently Join the global LEGO® Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
