As a Commissioning Engineer, you will start in production location in with inspecting the systems, so you will become familiar with the product. After a thorough induction period, you will work independently, but you will also work in teams and with various specialists. You will work on projects at home and abroad, where you will have final responsibility for the start-up, management, maintenance and inspection of our systems. You are the specialist in solving complex problems. This makes you both internal and external point of contact.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning the energy storage systems on site and ensuring correct integration within the overall project;
- Checking and monitoring product quality during preparation of the products both on site and at the production location ;
- Supervising and managing (Assistant) Engineers;
- Preparing (technical) reports of the work carried out, such as inspections, measurements and deviations detected;
- Point of contact for the customer during project work on project site;
- Analyzing and resolving technical problems (in consultation with third parties where necessary);
- Performing measurements and tests on electrical installations;
- Provided remote support to customers via control systems.
Requirements
- a completed Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a completed MBO 4 degree in electrical engineering supplemented by at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- knowledge of PLC systems and/or Embedded Software
- at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- preferably in possession of the following certificates: VP low voltage and high voltage
- communication skills, result-oriented, flexible, team player and quality-oriented
- command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
