We are gearing up to serve a growing number of customers in an early-stage market for TSN Ethernet solutions (Time Sensitive Networking). We are in a constant dialogue with well-known global brands, who are already customers or who see us as a potential supplier.

The Open Position

Comcores HQ is looking for a motivated and skilled colleague to fill a role as System architect for the Ethernet group.

Position Content

As a system architect, you will hold a key position in the Ethernet group that develop everything from high performance ethernet to IEEE1588 timing solutions. You will align solutions with stakeholders to gain knowledge and acceptance of systems requirements, interfaces and use-cases.

Our solutions for TSN Ethernet already include a wide range of IP cores, TSN features and SW solutions. Some of it has already been proven with global blue-chip customers. Some of it is work-in-progress and some of it is still ideas for our roadmap.

Main Responsibilities

Play a key role in defining architecture for our Ethernet switching solutions for TSN and make sure that it all adds up to solutions with the right market attractiveness. Design and architect IP, systems and demo platforms solutions that will enable us to show new technology applications in various verticals. Responsible for providing input for roadmap priorities covering all aspects of required IP as well SW requirements. Translate customer challenges into technical solution proposals and on that basis secure that we develop the exact right thing. Technical guru participating in sales interaction with customers and partners, demonstrating reference platforms and working with our sales people and customers at both technical and business level to show how Comcores´ TSN Ethernet solutions can provide value to customers organization.

Your Background

Master or BSc in Engineering with a Network Technology profile or equivalent More than 10 years of working experience as a VHDL/Verilog designer You work with Ethernet technologies today and have a solid insight into Ethernet standards such as IEEE 802.3 and IEEE802.1Q Knowledge about wireless systems and technologies is an advantage Personally, you are focused, systematic and solution-oriented person that manage to transform your skills into action You feel motivated by being the best within your field and like to work with the newest technologies Experience with, customer interaction is an advantage Written and spoken English at high level.
