Because of an increased demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions worldwide, we are looking for a Chief Software Architect to join our Technology Software Department.
You will become part of our team of Architects working across all our software offerings. You will be responsible for architecture towards our analytics offerings and work with our Analytics team, with is characterized as a highly agile department in Kamstrup. The team consist of 15 colleagues with different backgrounds such as Engineers, Computer Scientists, UX Designers and Ph.D., some of which are located in Malaga, Spain. The team is built with inspiration from a startup mindset, and have a very flat structure and works with the latest technologies and processes. The speed from idea to production is crucial, which is why the code must be of high quality and very testable.
A job with focus on collaboration and many new technologies
Your role is to lead the solution and technical design of Kamstrups analytics offerings. You and the team will be collaborating with Enterprise IT Architects, operations and various business units, and be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our application helping utilities around the world meet the sustainability goals.
In the job you can expect to work with some of the following technologies:
• .NET (C#), data science use Python and R but the backends are C#
• Azure Technology Stack (Cosmos, SQL, blobs, EventHub)
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• Event Driven Microservice Architecture
• GitLab
Personality matters
We expect you to have strong analytics skills as Architect when it comes to comprehend and understand the IT and business complexity in larger organizations. You have a proven record experience with software development and a solid background as a Computer Science Engineer. Preferably you have experience designing and implementing event driven microservice architecture.
As a person you are motivated by working with the newest technologies and you enjoy finding creative solutions to complex problems together with your team. Your professional insight and your well-developed sense of prioritization and structure enables you to gain trust and respect, and you know that the collaboration with colleagues and customers is crucial to success.
In addition, it is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written.
