We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Concierge to join our growing team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of any guest request which comes your way seeing it through until completion.
  • Devise guest itineraries, make bookings, arrange internal and external activities for guests and reservations while providing relevant recommendations to surprise and delight. 
  • Proudly promote hotel facilities as well as dining and activity recommendations. 
  • Supervise and direct Concierge, Bell Desk activities and Bell Staff as well as Doormen, Valet Parking and airport transportation requirements.
  • Assist in providing in room/suite services – butler services, special/VIP room set ups, amenities and deliveries to rooms.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to allow them to exceed guest expectations and provide a path for career development.
  • Assist Front of House Manager with managing the annual performance management process.
  • Take responsibility for guest experiences that have negatively been impacted and turn them into memorable moments
  • Assist with elements of the front desk operation including arrivals, check out and billing.
  • Ensure that all Concierge team is neatly groomed, clean and punctual at all times.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Flexibility to work different shifts including manager on duty shifts.
  • Previous experience working with Opera.
  • Passion for guest service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and effectively lead a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
  • Previous Front Office experience required.
