The Bell Attendant role is amongst the most critical roles within the Hotel as the Bell Attendant provides the first and last impression for the guest and highly impacts the overall guest experience. The attitude, behaviour and communication, skills are of vital importance to meet and exceed the guest’s expectations. Works with dedication, passion, and personal attention to deliver the brand promise: ’We are the Destination Authority, and our mission is to guide our guests on transformative journeys that touch their spirits and enrich their lives’’.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, sincere welcome to our guests, discreetly in a refined tone.
  • Identity VIPs, Elite Bonvoy members, regular and long staying guests and build rapport to offer personalized service and assistance. Guests are greeted by name in natural conversation.
  • Be aware of the VIP arrivals and departures of each day, familiar with the estimated time of arrival of each VIP.
  • Be aware of the Events, activities, meetings taking place including attendees, venue, and timings.
  • Hotel guests and passers-by are welcomed, acknowledged, and greeted, always observing the 10 and 5 rule (recognize and acknowledge guests at 10 feet and greet at 5 feet).
  • Proper use of local hospitality gestures are extended to all arrival and departure guests
  • Offers warm authentic welcome using time of greeting.
  • Offers fond farewell per local customs.
  • Offers luggage storage services, issues claim ticket and records in the records book accordingly.
  • Bell attendants ensure the speedy delivery of all guests’ luggage and messages.
  • Bell attendants handle guest’s requests and take personal responsibility to create a stay experience beyond the guest’s expectations.
  • Maintain sufficient product knowledge and reinforce service awareness, delivering the Luxury Collection brand promise and building relationships with the guests.
  • Provides personalized experience and creates positive image of the Resort during every interaction with guests, associates, and partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
  • Follow the company and department’s policies and procedures.
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and associates.
  • Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures. 
  • Be conversant with fire, life, and safety procedures.

 

Wymagania dotyczące stanowiska
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • +1-year prior experience in the hospitality industry in 4- or 5-star hotels in the same or similar role
  • Proficiency in English (Greek & Russian, or other language is a plus).
  • Pleasant personality.
  • Physically agile and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Team player.
  • Driving license if valet services will be provided.
