The Role

 

Genmab is expanding our Infrastructure team and seeking an Active Directory Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

The Engineer provides support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise including directory and identity management solutions.

 

As Active Directory Engineer, you will resolve and appropriately complete assigned cases and change requests and act as an escalation for support issues. Furthermore, you will apply new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiative and implement new software solutions as required by the business. The core infrastructure technology duties include enterprise Microsoft Active Directory and Windows file services architecture creation and management, global system security and policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives.

 

This is an opportunity to develop and manage the architecture for the future infrastructure setup at Genmab.

 

Responsibilities

  • Produce enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Services for global initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams

  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible

  • Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems

  • Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines

  • Provide training to the business as required

  • Provide advanced architecture and engineering support to automate and administrate identity and compliance requirements into all enterprise information systems

  • Drives planning and execution of identity management roadmaps and technology enhancements

  • Creates and maintains standards surrounding documentation related to identity processes, procedure, and infrastructure

  • Assesses current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices, and management approved standards

  • Architects plans for implementing management's directives in most secure manners with least disruption

  • Assists various IT departments with design, implementation and troubleshooting of security technologies

  • Provide security guidance and requirements to technology teams when no solution is currently available

  • 2nd level support for the capability area

  • Participate in developing roadmap for the capability area and partner with other areas of the business to align activities

 

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in a computer science, information technology, computer related discipline or 5+ years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment

  • Minimum 7 years overall IT experience with 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies

  • Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including expert knowledge in administering AD, Windows File Services, and GPO’s

  • Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows landscape

  • Knowledge of MDATP, Office 365 ATP, Azure ATP, MCAS, Azure AD

  • Extensive experience with infrastructure and server standards, principles, concepts, and applications

  • Furthermore, broad experience with networking fundamentals; Windows such as Physical Server architecture, Virtualization Technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies

  • ITIL v3 Certification or other best practice processes

  • Must show a progressive advancement in responsibility including deep troubleshooting technical skills

  • Thrives working in a team environment with a “can do” attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges

  • Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance, or productivity

  • Attend a week extended watch, offering 2nd level support out of business hours, if MSP, needs an onside engineer once every 5th week
