The European Job Day event will take place ONLINE on 15th of February from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (CET)
Are you a jobseeker looking for new job opportunities in Norway? Then you are at the right place!

Information for non-EU/EEA candidates
If you come from a country outside the EU/EEA and wish to work in Norway, you need a residence permit.
If you do not have a residence permit yet, you must apply for a residence permit for work. Previously this was called a work permit.
This may for example be a residence permit for skilled workers, seasonal workers, self-employed persons or employees in a humanitarian, non-profit or religious organisation.

Information for EU/EEA nationals
All EU/EEA nationals are allowed to work in Norway
- All EU/EEA nationals have the right to work in Norway.
- EU/EEA nationals can move to Norway and start working right away, but they must register with the police no later than three months after arriving in Norway. Registration is free.
- Swedish, Danish, Icelandic and Finnish citizens can work in Norway without registering with the police, but they must notify the National Population Register (Folkeregisteret) of their move (external website).
