Responsibilities and Duties
- Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome guests as they enter the establishment, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
- Taking Orders: Listen attentively to customers' food and beverage preferences, answer questions, and accurately record their orders.
- Presenting Specials: Describe daily specials, promotions, and menu highlights to guests.
- Serving Food and Beverages: Ensure timely and precise delivery of dishes and drinks, maintaining presentation and quality standards.
- Wine and Beverage Service: Offer wine and drink recommendations, pour and serve beverages.
- Addressing Customer Needs: Respond to customer requests, accommodate special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions), and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Clearing Tables: Clear empty dishes, utensils, and glassware, and reset tables for the next diners.
- Billing and Payment: Present bills, process payments accurately, and thank guests for their stay.
