For an international engineering company we are looking for starters E&I Technicians; to carry out corrective and preventive maintenance of industrial instrumentation. Suitable for candidates who have completed their school and maybe some years of work experience on a petrochemical plant. During the work, you will be trained to E&I Technician with all of its education, training and certificates. You will work for prominent Oil & Gas clients across the Rotterdam harbor – areas Europoort, Maasvlakte and Botlek. (Maintenance, Stops, Turn arounds and new build). Housing and transport to the work location will be provided. It concerns an intensive traineeship where you should be prepared to follow a learning workshop. You will be trained to first E&I Technician by training, courses and internal guidance. It is important to use the job for the longer time will, very eager to learn and want to grow. Next to you the requested training and experience is rigorously selected on mentality, attitude and motivation. Job E&I Technician As a technician your role includes a wide range of work in your field. You are responsible for troubleshooting in all kinds of electrical appliances and installations. It may concern generators, electrical, pneumatic and electrical measurement or control systems. In addition, you are responsible for preparing and evaluating risk analyses, indicate improvements regarding availability and efficiency, attend toolbox meetings and inspecting working environments.  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to electric installation and instrumentation systems;  Carrying out project-based revisions;  In collaboration with process automation testing and commissioning of modified and new systems;  Testing and inspection NEN1010 and low voltage installations in accordance with NEN3140 (Dutch/European standards);  Carrying/guiding preventive maintenance done by third parties;  Running (high and/or) low voltage circuits.  Working according to safety rules and standards (HSEQ); Job requirements  Education in the area of Electronic and/or Instrumentation  Prepared to follow a traineeship E&I Technician  Prepared to have a stable job for the longer time in The Netherlands  Customer-oriented attitude  Flexible working attitude  Good knowledge of the English language  In the possession of a driving license The candidate will work 14 months for the agency and after these period he will go work on directly contract at the company. Our experience is that the selection is strict but the group we send befor are all still working there. Work location: Botlek Rotterdam Work times: 7.00 or 8.00 hours starting and working 8 hours a day but people have to be open for overhours and weekend hours. Our experience is that people from another country want to make more hours because of the extra %.
