Technician

• You will be responsible for identifying any problems that arise with the various machines in the packing department.
• You will also be responsible for the major maintenance and servicing of the machines, in conjunction with the ‘preventative maintenance’ team.
• You will also handle preventative maintenance in the distribution centre. This is an automated warehouse, 11 levels high, that is full computer-controlled.
• You will work in a team of 5 technicians to detect and diagnose disruptions and breakdowns.
• You will be totally familiar with the technical side of the machines and their maintenance schedules. 

Profile:

• You have a technical qualification, preferably as a graduate / bachelor of electronics / electrical engineering – or the equivalent gained through your experience.
• You are meticulous in resolving technical problems and breakdowns.
• Your strength is in anything technical and electronics – and you are also at home getting your hands dirty working on technical matters.
• You have had a passion for machines, computers, motors, etc. since you were young.
• You are able to take initiative, enjoy learning new things on a daily basis and always aim for the best quality
