Dnata is a leading global specialist in all aspects of aircraft maintenance and supply, also known as ground handling and air cargo services. Our client, "Lödige Industries, the world's largest provider of cargo terminal solutions" has been contracted to deliver their new cargo terminal at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Due to construction work at Schiphol to improve the airport infrastructure, Dnata is required to move to a new terminal building. The plan is for the terminal to become operational by mid-2024. The new building, developed by Schiphol Commercial Real Estate and designed by DP6 architects, will be equipped by Lödige Industries with a fully automated and modern system to ensure the future growth of Dnata's customers at Schiphol.

The terminal will use two separate automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) with twelve warehouse cranes for import and export, capable of storing 2500 pallets. An additional storage area for up to 700 ULDs will be serviced by four elevating transport vehicles (ETVs). To ensure flexible and scalable ULD transport within the terminal, Dnata will also deploy seven intelligent automated guided vehicles (AGVs) - a product innovation developed by Lödige Industries - which will be deployed on a large scale for the first time here.

We are now looking for engineers who are excited to work on both mechanical and electrical tasks. On the first day, you will work on a floor area the size of seven football fields, which is completely empty, except for the building. Sixteen months later, one of the most modern cargo companies at Schiphol will stand there, and you will have contributed to it! Job description:

As an electrical and mechanical construction engineer, you will encounter a wide range of tasks, and no two days will be the same.

As an electrical and mechanical construction engineer, you will:

• Prepare and plan work activities.
• Assemble parts into assemblies and complete machines, along with all related tasks.
• Install electrical wiring.
• Bend and install piping for electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Overhaul complete machines or installations and advise whether parts can be reused.

• You have experience with machine construction;
• You have basic knowledge of the operation and functioning of the most common tools and equipment used in machine construction;
• You have knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics;
• You have technical knowledge;
• You can work from a drawing;
• You have good communication skills.

It is mandatory that you live in a European country.
