Sous chef (m/f)
Your Tasks:
- Is responsible for managing the employees who report to the executive chef de cuisine while the latter is away
- Ensures that work is performed professionally and effectively
- Prepares menus and specials of the day based on the food that is in season together with the executive chef de cuisine
- Checks goods and their storage
- Purchases goods and does pricing when the executive chef de cuisine is away
- Ensures compliance with HACCP policies in the kitchen
Your Profile:
- Several years of work experience in all kitchen areas
- Completed vocational training as a chef
- Excellent German or English skills; additional languages are desirable
- Experience managing and motivating employees
- Thorough familiarity with HACCP requirements
- Strong service and quality orientation
- Outstanding communication skills and a compelling and engaging demeanor
- A can-do attitude, hands-on mentality, and strong solution orientation
- Team player; able to handle stress
