Simulation Engineer
Egemin is looking for a simulation engineer.
As a Simulation Engineer you will join the Innovation Team and work closely together with experienced Simulation Engineers from our Logistics Department. Your goal is to provide our engineers and customers with the results of your study, which will allow them to make structural and/or temporary changes that optimize the energy management of both existing and yet-to-be-built automated warehouses. The resulting insights will be used to set up energy simulation models and to calculate the CO 2 footprint of those automated 'eco-warehouses'. To prepare your study you will analyze available data and make an estimation of the amount of work for the study. Then you continue with the conversion of the layout to the simulation package; modelling of conveyors, cranes, automatic guided vehicles (E'gv ®s) etc and the implementation of experiments . At the end of your study you report and present the relevant results.
