Job Description:

Catena develops high performance, low power mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive and portable application. Besides the analog front end the digital part of the Radio cores is a combination of peripherals, filters, and a DSP core. After the design, integration and verification phase the implemented functionality is validated on silicon in our labs. We are looking for a strong senior or experienced Digital Design Engineer who defines the digital system requirements specification and translates it into a digital system architecture including block level specifications. The candidate is able to technically guide the design team through the implementation, verification and documentation phase of the project life cycle. A good knowledge of signal processing is required as well as a thorough understanding of the digital design flow. Also the candidate should still be eager to design, implement and verify on block and IC level.

Requirements:

• M.S./Ph.D. with more than 4 years of experience as Digital IC Design Engineer followed by a period of at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Digital Design Engineer or Digital IC Architect.

• Experienced in setting up digital system and block level specifications and working out a architecture.

• Track record of technically leading design teams.

• Experience in designing IP and IC designs containing digital filters, DSP cores, peripherals is an advantage.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Analytical, pragmatic and driven personality.
