Senior Software Developer

Location: Eindhoven, NL

Job Description:

We are looking for a self-propelled (Senior) Software Developer to strengthen our embedded DSP Firmware development team at our location in Son & Breugel. The candidate has more than 5 years experience in the field of embedded Firmware development.

We develop high performance, low power mixed-signal integrated circuits for automotive and portable applications. Embedded Software is a key success factor providing the necessary flexibility to enable our customers to be successful in a competitive market

As the function is a companywide cross project function, you should be familiar with setting up a Software Requirement Specification in cooperation with the customer and the Catena internal domain experts. Based on the requirements specification you are able to work out a Software Design, including block level specifications that are the basis for the Firmware development team. A good understanding of the state-of-the-art embedded Firmware development process is mandatory. We also require the candidate to have strong communication skills.

Requirements:

  • M.S./B.Sc. with several years of experience
  • Good understanding of the state-of-the-art embedded Firmware development process
  • Knowledge of and experience with the CMM-I model is an advantage
  • Affinity with hardware and radio technology is an advantage
  • Good communication skills
