Senior Electronic Engineer

You will join the Steer-By-Wire team, which is a growing and dedicated team, existing mainly of electrohydraulic and software experts and you will report directly to the R&D HW/SW Manager. We specialise in Safety Critical Mechatronic actuators and sensors used for Steer-By-Wire systems in off-road vehicles. Product development, improvement and maintenance You will be responsible for electronic design of electrohydraulic products in Work Functions, incl. our eSteering platform. You will translate customer requirements into electronic hardware concepts and architecture. Furthermore, you will ensure alignment across functions and departments and take care of sub-contracting with internal and external partners. Finally, you will be responsible for Work Functions’ microcontroller strategy. Key tasks could be: •Product development and participation in product and technology projects •Participation in product series updates and maintenance of electrohydraulic products •Lead reviewer on all electronic HW •Implementation of electronic HW development process in Work Functions •Contributing to quality and supply chain issues •Coaching junior colleagues and offering technical sparring to management A challenging job is waiting for you in an international environment, where you will develop yourself technically as well as personally. Electronic Engineer with experience in electronic hardware development You hold an MSc/BSc in electronic engineering or the like, and you have advanced experience in electronic hardware development combined with project management or subcontract management experience. You contribute with your practical experience with ISO 26262 and/or IEC61508 and are able to translate customer requirements into product features. You thrive on solving technical problems, both independently and together in a team. You possess a holistic overview, and even under pressure, you still manage to work on several fronts in a persistent and goal-oriented manner. You are open-minded and good at interacting with others, and you enjoy cooperating across borders and cultures. Finally, you have excellent English skills verbally and in writing.
