We are currently looking for support for our office located in INDIA (Pune): 1 Sales Director India m/f Key responsibilities >>Managing the company sales strategy and performance. >>Sales policy including clear guidance for market and customer approaches, project acquisitions, price, margin and discount policy. >>Representing the company towards the customers, partners and consultants. >>Leading, coaching and training the existing sales team and the internal operations managers. >>Managing the company sales force located all over India and providing full support to the existing channel partners. >>Optimizing organisational structures. >>To identify operational performance problems and to solve them. Skills/experience required >>Open and communicative professional with proven experience in sales and team management. >>Technical university degree in engineering (ideally lighting industry or electronics) plus sales management experience. >>Minimum 5 years professional experience in a managerial position in a technical environment in a Western or European company. >>In-depth knowledge of the Indian market and the country specific business environments (architects, consultants, distributors, etc.) >>Volume of travel within India: 50% >>Fluent English is essential; Hindi and German are advantageous Our proposition The position includes an attractive salary package: EUR 4.700 pre-tax (~30% in India)/month plus housing, a company car or driver for corporate and private use, as well as a mobile phone and a personal laptop.
