Your responsibilities:
- Leading the embedded software and algorithm development for a 79 GHz radar platform
- Developing system software components as well as new radar signal processing methods and implementing them in the target hardware
- Analyzing the system specifications and managing the software requirements
- Defining and implementing the software architecture, the application framework, communication stacks and diagnostics
- Modelling radar system performance
- Selecting and designing appropriate radar signal processing methods based on system requirements
- Designing and testing radar signal processing algorithms and implement them into target hardware
- Communicating with customers, suppliers and external R&D partners, including academic partners
Your profile:
- A university degree in electronic engineering, communication engineering, computer science or equivalent
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology and signal processing

3-5 years’ experience in the following subjects:
- Topologies and operational modes of automotive radar systems
- Radar signal processing in multi-channel, multi-target applications
- Numerical computer simulation tools
- Embedded software development and integration of signal processing algorithms in heterogeneous multi-processor environments
- Real time operating systems in multicore environments
- Requirements management tools (DOORS)
- Methods of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE (ISO/IEC 15504)
- A good knowledge of C / C++ programming
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are strong assets
