Psychologist
Pathway Clinical Ireland are a new early years intervention service based in Lucan, Co. Dublin. We are currently recruiting a Clinical/Educational Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team working in the field of autism assessments, as well as providing psychology therapy to our early years clients.
About the role:
- We are looking for Clinical/Educational Psychologist to join our team.
- Work as part of an organised multidisciplinary team to offer the highest quality assessments and consultations to families and their children.
- Review all the documents on the client file to fully establish the appropriate assessment/s to be completed as part of an autism assessment.
- Provide a variety of psychological assessments (ADOS, ADI-R, Psychological/Cognitive, School or home observations) to children.
- Offer full-scale reports to relevant professionals and clients as well as liaising with schools and other required agencies.
- Within a multidisciplinary team, compile the evidence acquired to arrive at a differential diagnosis.
- Offer feedback to families following the assessment to further explain the diagnosis.
- Complete onward referrals with GPs and other MDT services as required.
- Take part in the quality assurance of reports by proof-reading all documents prior to submission to admin team as well as making any relevant changes as required by clients.
Requirements:
- Post-graduate qualification (minimum Level 9) in Educational or Clinical Psychology as recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- If qualified outside of the Republic of Ireland, qualifications must be validated by the Department of Health.
- Children’s First Training (HSE Certificate).
- PSI registration.
- Minimum of 1 year post graduate qualification experience.
- Relevant experience in administering diagnostic assessments in the area of autism.
- Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 Training (desirable).
- Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised Training (desirable).

Salary Information:
- Salary extremely competitive that aims to surpass the HSE’s (2023) salary scales for a Staff Grade Psychologist €56,823 – €97,280.
