You become part of a diverse and high-spirited working environment consisting of four employees, within the department of Water Solutions. The team passionately works to create the intelligent solutions, which convert real time big data into applicable usage for our customers. 

We work with state-of-the-art communication basics combining technology and advanced software solutions, which allow us to translate data into action. Your daily routine is characterized by high involvement and a fast moving international environment.

Product Manager with responsibility for solution development

As Product Manager for Water Solutions your main responsibility is mediating relations. In collaboration with our Sales Department you are defining Kamstrup’s market position, a skill necessary to help lay the foundation for our customers’ value chains and future water network solutions. This way you are ensuring Kamstrup's leading role as a global water meter supplier. 

You will work across the organisation in close contact with the Sales and Marketing departments. You will be responsible for product launches, pay close attention to market trends and analyse competitors. Additionally, you play an important role in global launches of our water meter solutions, working closely with local sales teams and external partners. With your profound industry experience and technological insight, your job is to maintain strong relationships with customers and communicate the intelligent water solutions we provide.

Moreover, you have the following areas of responsibility:

- Managing role in innovation projects, including generating ideas and project execution.

- Representing customers at the Project Management Team.

- Develop and implement product presentations, white papers and specifications.

- Teaching the sales team in solution-oriented sales and the latest development in the industry.

- Pre-sale support and customer visits.

- Bid Management (proposal) Support.

- Evaluating on pricing and profit.

There are expectedly around 50 travelling days a year.

 

Personality matters

You are as technical as commercially minded, taking a constructive and positive approach in managing tasks. With high spirit and gumption you engage in projects connecting parts across the organization. You work result-oriented with a high level of autonomy, keeping yourself informed and remaining loyal to customer requests, in the promotion of products and solutions. 

 

You have an advanced (Masters) degree in Engineering or another technical education, and a minimum of five years of experience from a similar position within water supply or water utility. When engaging in projects you have a practical attitude and easily categorize complex systems, in order to comprehend and explain how our products are implemented. 

 

You have a broad understanding of how advanced IT-solutions are created and implemented and how effective data reading is analyzed into valuable information. As a person you have an open mind and strong skills of communication. This makes you capable of transmitting information to various stakeholders and through a variety of different media communicates product information. You value loyalty in relationship with customers and have the ability to navigate through complex structures in an international organization. 

The job requires fluency in the English language.
