Product Application Engineer

Do you want to work for a market leader in the business of hydraulic proportional valves? You will become the primary technical supporter on a wide range of products and work closely with customers and colleagues across departments. You will become part of a Dynamic team consisting of seven dedicated Product Application Engineers in our Controls Division. We provide worldwide technical support to our customers and responsibility for this is divided into geographical areas. The position is located in Nordborg and entails up to 30 days of travelling per year. Technical advice and support Your main task will be to provide technical advice and support customers in the use of a wide range of products. You will be the link between customers and internal functions in Danfoss, as are responsible for specifying and initiating product changes and adjustments based on customer requirements. In detail, you will: •Provide technical support •Arrange and conduct product training for both customers as well as internally •Ensure content and preparation of relevant technical literature and tools •Technical responsibility for existing product platforms (within the PAE team) •Ensure delivery in costumer projects on time at agreed cost and quality •Communicate product changes to the customers •Participate in customer visits •Support market launch of new product developments Proactive and extrovert engineer You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronic or mechatronic engineering and you have been working within engineering or technical sales for a couple of years. It will be a plus if you have knowledge of hydraulics. You are a team player with good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. You take great pride in developing quality products and have a desire to succeed in your daily work. It is mandatory that your English and Danish skills are good both verbally and written.
