Are you ready to play a paramount role in optimising Danfoss Power Solutions’ price level? And do you have the stamina to act as entry point for price requests for quotes coming from the Sales organisation? Then you could be our new Price Planner working with our account teams and customers within the various market segments around the globe. A paramount role in optimising the price level at Danfoss Power Solutions As Price Planner you are responsible for optimising the price level for customers and supporting the Sales organisation in all price-related issues. Using pricing analytic tools, you proactively create, evaluate, update and communicate guidelines for the Sales organisation. You hereby ensure that the Account Managers are able to work autonomously and decide target prices within their authority level. Using your business approach, you analyse the customer from an overall perspective and give recommendations on all kinds of commercial aspects (i.e. price, payment terms, incoterms and currency strategy) and provide input for price negotiations and all price-related issues. You will work closely with the Sales organisation and different Business Units to ensure the pricing materials, guidelines and authorisation levels are understood and followed. Furthermore, you will: •Take ownership for finding the right solution in the right time and at the right price for the customer •Work with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality and responsiveness in price changes and annual pricing updates •Ensure that product strategies and profitability targets provided by the Business Units are followed for all price recommendations and quotations, avoiding unprofitable business •Support Sales & Marketing Controlling in the monthly review of the global price development Customer oriented thinking and sterling communication skills You have a relevant bachelor degree and a high level of relevant business experience from a similar B2B industry. Experience with SAP (Business Objects Reporting) is a strong plus. You have a general understanding of pricing structure and a solid understanding of how changes in master data affect other functional areas. You are able to learn the financial ratios used in understanding and running a business, that meets profitability goals and have a good understanding of numbers. In order to succeed, you need to have a passion for the overall business and capability to focus on the profitable growth goals of the organisation. You also need a quality mindset and a desire to deliver the results back to the stakeholder on time and agreed conditions. You thrive in an international environment and you have strong communication and networking capabilities with the power to challenge the Sales team when optimising the customer price. You hold basic negotiating skills and the ability to conduct meetings. You are energetic and willing to fight for optimum solutions between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests. You are fluent in written and spoken English, and knowledge of Danish and German is an advantage.
