KK recently were acquired by AP Moller Holding, and as result continue our journey for becoming the a global leader within renewable energy. As a consequence, we are searching for a Finance project lead to support VP of Finance partnering/FP&A. Starting up you will assist in key value creation projects across the 4 core areas of the department; Finance partnering, Business intelligence; Performance Management and Merger & Acquisitions. You will personally be empowered to execute on specific tasks related to building best-in-class Reporting (Power BI), budget process execution, 5 year forecast, evaluate Merger & Acquisitions and major business case (modeling, strategic rationale description etc.).

 

Ambition

The long term goal is that through experience, learning and coaching, you will be grown into a full project manager capable of stand-alone driving complex value creation transformations across entire KK focusing on (but not limited to) Finance partnering and FP&A topics leveraging a full toolbox based on top management consulting coaching.

 

What will you do

  • Project management related to execution of the annual KK group budget (stakeholder briefing/coordination, data collection, support target setting, analyze preliminary results, build reporting to executive management)
  • Lead process related to KK group 5 year forecasting (building business case model, gathering of internal/external data points for benchmarking, draw conclusions and support creation of board material)
  • Support target setting and follow-up related to Must win Battles linked to execution of KK group strategy
  • Excel modeling, valuation, power point presentation creation related to major business case evaluations and acquisitions
  • Project management related to report/process streamlining across KK group
  • Defining and driving Power BI reporting across entire KK incl. indirect management/coordination of report developers, IT resources

Required skills and qualifications

Master degree in relevant Finance area with 0-4 years’ experience (position will be adapted to fit right candidate)

 

Core skills/mindset required

  • Strong theoretical foundation within finance and/or economics/general business
  • Above average personal drive with a track-record of delivering impact (can be professionally or in sports, non-profit organizations, politics etc.)
  • A leadership mindset, although being in early stage of her/his career, the candidate has engaged in direct or indirect leadership positions through work/sports/organizations
  • Willingness/ambition to engage on a steep learning curve based on approach known from top management consulting firms (candidate will be enrolled in coaching and training leveraged within top Tier consulting firms)
  • Experience within best practice excel modeling and use of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel 10-20 days
  • Full-time, part-time or internship experience within management consulting, investment banking or financial controlling considered a plus
