Job Description
- Development of Java-based Transport Management System for road logistics, test-cases and applications
- Work collaboratively on the definition, specification and design of modular and integrated software and systems
- Deliver functional as well as technical documentation
- Interact with a team of software architects and framework developers as well as local and international development teams
- Usage of frameworks and technical components based on Java
- System maintenance, support for application rollouts and operations
Requirements to Candidates
- Academic degree of computer sciences or equivalent education/knowledge
- Practical knowledge in design and development of complex software components and business applications
- Practical experience with the implementation of Java-based enterprise applications; competent knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, Java, Spring, JUnit and understanding of SOA paradigm
- Knowledge of Java Swing, Java FX and experience with ESB are beneficial
- Profound knowledge of current tools and frameworks such as Subversion, Maven, Jenkins
- Proven skills in object-oriented modelling and software design using UML
- Ability to maintain and enhance existing software components, applications and systems
- Experience of agile projects are desirable
- High self-motivation, outstanding team player, willing to take over responsibility, interested in current trends and topics in the field of software development
- Fluent written and spoken English (German would be a plus)
