IT Demand Manager for PLM & Engineering Processes (189998)
Siemens Global Services IT is responsible for operating and improving the IT landscape for Siemens Wind Power. For the IT Department Demand Management and Local Delivery we are looking for additional IT Demand Managers. The Demand Managers manage business demand for all IT products and services within the IT portfolio. They ensure that services, provided by the responsible IT delivery department, are aligned with business demands while fostering synergies and re-use of existing/planned services.
What are my responsibilities?
Demand Managing of Product-Lifecycle-Management and Engineering Collecting and analyzing customer requirements and translating them into IT demand requirements Identifying business goals, objectives and needs of the business environment Consulting internal customers in the optimization and harmonization of business processes Performing business process analysis in order to support business organization through IT solutions Contributing and supporting planning, budgeting, design and alignment of business processes Monitoring IT projects from Demand Management perspective and ensuring that quality standards and processes are met Supporting customization and specifications of modules and applications, and facilitating IT development process towards internal customers Coordinating relevant user acceptance tests, and designing and documenting new processes Supporting change-release processes and implementation of IT security guidelines Advising business management of the unit, on all IT Demand related issues Analyzing and evaluating trends and developments for applications or infrastructure solutions Clarifying cases as an escalation point
What do I need to qualify for this job?
You have an academic background within Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a similar education and multiple years of experience in ERP consulting, IT Requirement Engineering and/or IT Project Management You have good knowledge of technical and process related aspects of PLM You bring know-how in product development and engineering processes as well as experience in implementing business processes into an IT Landscape Preferably you are familiar with system know-how of Siemens NX and/ or Team Center You have a fundamental knowledge of ITIL methodology You are customer-focused and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills across levels in an organization. You are proactive and self-determined, you take responsibility for your work and you possess strong analytical, coordination and collaboration skills You are fluent in both spoken and written English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
