About the Department
In Digital Workplace EMEA you will contribute to changing how Novo Nordisk employees work, collaborate and communicate. You will be part of a team of 8 dedicated people focusing on how to drive the future workplace while ensuring stable and secure operations.
Together we are responsible for assuring that Novo Nordisk has a well-functioning digital workplace including but not limited to platforms, tools, devices and services. We are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platform, Novo Nordisk Meeting technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms together with devices and the global telephony setup.
The position
As our new IT Architect, you will manage the development of our IT solutions within collaboration, communication and meeting room products. You will work with technologies such as Microsoft Teams and Live Event, Cisco Telepresence video solutions and Livestreaming platforms, IP Telephony and IT infrastructure components, integrating and bridging the above, as well as Microsoft 365 solutions in general.
You will be part of our agile setup and work together in global agile teams. As part of the team you will ensure that our offerings provide value for the users, that incidents and problems are handled and solved as well as new solutions and features are developed for an even better user experience.
Part of your daily tasks will be to build global roadmaps for relevant technologies and processes, incorporating needs for local differences, define and document future architectures and ensure scalability. We expect you to stay ahead on industry trends and assess new products and technologies as well as evaluate feasibility of concepts and services from vendors.
Qualifications
You have a bachelors or master’s degree within science, IT, technology or the like and 2-3 years of experience with infrastructure and technologies preferably from a larger corporation or organisation. You can demonstrate domain knowledge within Collaboration solutions, Office 365 and similar Cloud and network solutions. Knowledge on how to drive vendor selection processes within this space is an advantage.
As a person you are a persistent problem solver, good at identifying risks and proactively act on them. Furthermore, you are good at building relations, including communicating to and managing stakeholders on different organisational as well as technical competency levels.
