We are looking for an Installation Engineer. The Installation Engineer supports project teams with calculations and the development of methods and procedures for installing, removing and transporting offshore constructions.
To prepare and update procedures, methods, drawings, etc. for various phases of the work.
• To resolve technical queries and recommend alternative solutions to engineering problems related to installation activities.
• To prepare and update stability and transportation and lifting analyses for relevant phases of the work.
• To prepare detailed calculations on project related subjects such as rigging, padeyes, seafastenings, barge grillages and installation aids.
• To ensure compliance with engineering standards and relevant codes.
• To produce material and equipment material take-offs with sufficient information to meet the required technical, quality and safety standards.
• Carry out other department related tasks when required by Section Head Project Engineering or Manager Engineering Department.
Minimum Bachelor / Master level (Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Preferably 0-3 years working experience in a project related environment
• Experience within the offshore, oil and gas or shipping sector is a big plus, but not mandatory

• Flexible and hands-on mentality
• Willing to travel abroad to sites, clients and offshore to our vessels.
