As the Head of Business Performance Management within Maersk Oil (Planning, Performance & Economics team), you will play a central role in driving business performance management throughout Maersk Oil. We Offer

You will be heading a team of 5 and work closely with senior management. The team is responsible for target setting, process planning as well as management reporting and performance management; linking corporate strategy, business plans and financial forecasting/reporting across Maersk Oil.



You will be reporting into the Head of Planning, Performance & Economics and be part of a team of ~15 staff in Copenhagen covering economics, portfolio management, board reporting and performance. You will also be a central player in a wider global community that is involved in performance management across our business units.



The position will give you significant insight into Maersk Oil globally and the opportunity to impact the business direction of the company. You will be working in close cooperation with multiple stakeholders across the entire organization and the position will provide a strong network and foothold for a future career within Maersk Oil.





Key Responsibilities

Your primary tasks will include:



• Drive and continue to improve the global Business Performance Management process

• Enable business performance across the business

• Drive the annual global priorities and target settings

• Facilitate Business Performance reviews for senior management

• Advice senior management on business performance through performance analysis and insights

• Drive global KPI framework and dashboard tool

• Coordinate & build the global performance management community across BUs, ExU and global functions

• Build strong working relationships with other Maersk Oil stakeholders and the A.P. Møller-Maersk Group

Key stakeholders & interfaces:

The role will provide significant exposure to senior levels in all areas of MOG: all BUs and all functional teams. The team works closely with other teams in Finance & Business Services (esp. Finance, Strategy) as well as with stakeholders in APMM.





Who we are looking for

We expect you to have a master degree, a min. 5-10 years working experience preferably within the upstream oil and gas industry and/or a proven track record with performance management and leading teams/(virtual) communities.



You are recognized for being well-organized and for your advanced influencing & communication skills. You have a proven track-record in effectively leading teams, also in stressful times when your team has to meet tight deadlines. Your analytical skills are well above average. You’re a self-motivated with a strong drive that also inspires others. You are pro-active and focused on execution.
