Hardware Development Engineer

Your responsibilities:

• Analyzing customer and internal requirements
• Establishing and maintaining internal hardware specifications
• Carrying out:
  • Schematics and PCB layout creation and maintenance
  • Electronic circuits simulations
  • Design documentation
  • Hardware and EMC debugging
  • Hardware characterization
  • FMEA, FMEDA
• Creating and maintaining hardware test specifications
• Developing test tools such as test setups, test circuits, and scripts for automated tests
• Acting as a technical interface with other internal teams, customers and suppliers
• Planning, controlling and tracking the timing and costs of hardware development
• Reporting hardware project status

 Your profile:

• Academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on experience in hardware development
• Experience in automotive hardware development is a considerable advantage
• Understanding of engineering design principles
• Structured thinking and ability to work independently
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Good knowledge of the following topics is considered a strong asset:
  • electronics automotive development processes
  • electronics circuit design
  • MS Project
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are strong assets
