General Operative Warehouse
Job Description: The role will involve working as part of the team in a busy warehouse covering all aspects of warehouse operations. The candidate will work on site and report to the Warehouse Manager. The role is full time and permanent Responsibilities • Unload vehicles • Check goods quantity/condition on receipt & sign delivery documentation • Process goods receipts on ERP system • Prepare product for put away or dispatch • Record product locations on stock control system • Pick product in warehouse & generate delivery documentation • Load vehicles & issue delivery documentation • Carry out stock counts • Pack, collate & repack stock as necessary • Maintain premises & stock in good condition – Clean as you go • General tasks as identified by Warehouse manager
- Warehouse operations experience
- Counterbalance qualification necessary, Turret Truck experience and advantage
- Experience of SAP or similar an advantage
- Basic IT skills
- Good communications skills – phone, email & in person
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment with daily deadlines
- Good interpersonal communication skills to integrate into team
- Ability to learn in house systems & procedures
- Openness to taking on new tasks and challenges as they arise
- Positive attitude and professional approach to work
