AVAX Group is seeking General Insurance Employee (Non-Motor) for staffing the Insurance Department. The main goal of this position is to support the Insurance Department in managing the Corporate Insurance portfolio of AVAX Group, focusing on Projects and Assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of Technical Insurance Policies (CAR, DSU, CECR, CPM), Liability Insurance, Employer’s Liability, Professional Liability, Property Insurance (PD/BI), etc.
  • Analysis of contractual insurance requirements and liabilities in construction contracts or tender documents, and insurance risk assessment.
  • Design of RFPs for insurance research in the Greek and International markets.
  • Communication with Insurance Brokers and Insurance Companies in Greece and abroad for collecting/negotiating offers for risk placement.
  • Techno-economic evaluation of insurance offers and preparation of comparison tables.
  • Updating the insurance policies register for renewals or extensions.
  • Management of insurance contracts, including extensions and renewals.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Underwriter in an Insurance or Brokerage company, with expertise in insurance/management of large risks (knowledge of Technical Insurance is preferred)
  • University degree
  • Excellent written and spoken English proficiency, including insurance terminology
  • Strong understanding of insurance coverages/terms
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training
  • Methodical approach, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Decisiveness and adaptability
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
  • Team spirit, diligence, and responsibility
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
