Fitness Center Attendant

Main Duties and responsibilities:

1. To give personal instruction and advice on use of all of the body conditioning and cardiovascular equipment, ensuring maximum satisfaction and safety of the members and guests.
2. To compile exercise program cards for members and guests.
3. To maintain swimming and lifeguard skills up to the required standard in order to cover the indoor & outdoor swimming pool outlet when required.
4. Manage Fitness Center reception in the daily operation, including membership subscriptions, cashiering daily tasks, site inspection to guests, providing all necessary information to guests via telephone or in personal contact.
5. Take group fitness lessons and personal training lessons as required.

Tools/Equipment used:

1. Computer & software for daily operation.
2. Fitness Equipment: All strength exercise equipment & cardio equipment, steam, sauna, ice plunge, Jacuzzi, indoor jet pool.
3. Cleaning equipment for the fitness center, gym area, tennis and squash courts, internal and external pool and changing rooms.
4. Robot Cleaner for indoor & outdoor pool.

1. Bachelor Degree as Fitness Trainer (TEFAA)
2. Knowledge of Yoga / Pilates / Pilates Reformer 
3. Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills
4. Teamwork mentality, forward thinking & ‘can-do’ attitude
5. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload
6. Experienced in managing people with care and handle customer requests and feedback in a professional and timely manner
7. Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
