Experienced Mechanical Engineer

Do you want to work with all aspects of AD HOC projects from tenders/quotations to calculation, execution and documentation of mechanical jobs/projects? Then this might be the job for you! We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to follow up on and coordinate daily office routines and tasks, some of which include design work, preparation of solutions and participation in ongoing projects. You will be part of our service and modifications department and work from our premises in Esbjerg. There will be approximately 30 travel days a year on/offshore (minor jobs). Responsibilities and tasks: You will help developing/canvassing new business areas, coordinate service jobs and design minor systems/projects, including: •Mechanical design, production preparation and modification of existing systems •Design and calculation of mechanical jobs/projects •Preparation/follow-up on job packages •End-to-end project management Professional qualifications: You are a Mechanical Engineer (B.Sc. ME) or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering. Further skills: •Experience from similar jobs would be an advantage, but is not required •Familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks •Familiar with assisting technicians •Knowledge of calculating/installing piping and structural systems •Experience in economy control and tendering •Familiar with class rules (ABS, DNV, Loyds etc.) Your profile: You are able to maintain a sense of perspective even under pressure and have a “can do” attitude based on methodical insight.
