DevOps Engineer
Job description
We are looking for reliable and highly skilled person to fulfill DevOps position.
- Operate java based web applications
- Being accountable for various development, test and productive application environments
- Design of web server architectures to secure high performance and high availability
- Identification of web architecture improvement measures
- Troubleshooting web application issues and problems together with other technical teams
- Automation of Java Build- and Deployment Processes (Hudson/Jenkins; Puppet)
- Monitoring and administration of Java based Components
- Configuration and monitoring of application servers (Tomcat, Apache)
- Tuning of web applications regarding network traffic and page load time (Caching, page compression, etc.) and tuning of Java Virtual Machines (Garbage Collection)
- System Monitoring (Nagios)
- Capacity Management
You are suitable candidate if you have:
- Lot's of experience in Linux System Administration, including scripting on senior level
- Broad knowhow in Networking-, Storage- and Virtualization technology
- Experience with Deployment Automation tools like Ansible and Puppet
- Java development experience
- Knowhow of Java build systems like Maven
- Experience in Continuous Integration environments like Jenkins and BitBucket server
- Knowhow in operating and monitoring Java applications like AppDynamics and Centreon
- Good communication skills
- Good command of English in order to work in international team
