Would you like to set the design direction for a team of specialists that ensure architecture development and a strong portfolio of LEGO Bricks? Create 110 % solutions that are in production for 25 years You set the design direction and drive your team forward in securing the foundation for the most optimal consumer experiences. You lead both people and processes on tactical and operational level within both innovation and maintenance projects. This could be aligning specific groups of elements in terms of quality, functionality, price and appeal to both girls and boys. In doing so, you: Set the design direction and manage tasks of the currently 4 platform specialists, just as you are part of a team setting the overall direction of the platform projects Balance and be primary point of contact for all stakeholders Communicate with key stakeholders and top management in a crisp and clear way to ensure buy-in and commitment to the portfolio of projects Take a starting point in the consumers´ experiences and identify new experiences as well as lead and implement new element knowledge Connected community In a culture that is famous for collaboration and creativity, you will connect the dots in order to create bricks that fit within LEGO Product families, have a long lifetime and are updated in terms of the entire value chain. Experienced design manager with a holistic mind-set and strong collaboration skills You will be challenged on your ability to maintain the overview during workdays where you are the focal point of lots of information and responsible for prioritising correctly from a full value chain perspective. To facilitate this, you: Hold a master within Design, Industrial Design or Management and a track record of integrating design projects in a process oriented culture Have a sense for strategic initiatives and holistic projects as well as flair for when and how to communicate, ideally deriving from experience with change management 3-5 years of experience at specialist or manager level combined with the ability to speak and write English effortlessly Have 3D drawing skills (preferably Rhino) as well as skills in the Adobe and Microsoft suites and having kept yourself up to date on trends within your field Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment.
