WHO WE ARE IN DECISION DESIGN



In Decision Design we help customers in the early stages of their investment projects with identifying what technical solutions match their need and what it will require in terms of capital investment and time to execute a project. When customers approach us they often already have an idea of possible project outcomes, but lack the information needed to make a final decision. In short intense projects and in close collaboration with our customers, we help clarify possible alternatives from both a technical and business perspective and enable our customers to make the right business decisions.

How you might spend your days

As a Decision Design Lead, you'll be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team where you'll be:

• the lead on our cross disciplinary front-end projects, which can serve to solve diverse customers' needs such as technical due dilligence, feasibilty studies, concept briefs, conceptual designs etc.
• take responsibility for identifying customer needs, co-creating, with our account managers, the right project execution model with the customers and setting the right team.
• be responsible for ensuring that NNE delivers an engineering solution that both matches the customer's technical needs and supports their decision process and business case.  Our customers’ needs vary – therefore so does our engineering output.
• plan and drive the execution of the project together with your skilled NNE technical leads. Always with a strong focus on delivering an engineering output that inspires and creates the relevant value for our customers, which is where your sound understanding of business drivers in pharma companies come into play.
• use your strong facilitation and communication skills and apply tools and work methods inspired from design thinking and service design, to ensure that we not only deliver the right engineering output but also provide outstanding customer experiences.

• You will join a small and dedicated team of decision design leads who have a broad interface with employees in Sales & Project Execution and with NNE’s technical disciplines.
• We work in a matrix organization where teams are set for each individual project. Sharing experience, ideas and sparring is part of the way we work in the team.
• The Decision Design team consist of employees with different technical backgrounds and profiles. We strive to use these differences proactively to ensure that we all continuously learn and grow individually and as a team. We also hope to learn from you!

The miles you’ve walked

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to succeed in this role:

• Educational background and experience with one of following technical disciplines within pharma:  Process (API, utility, fill/finish), architecture or automation/IT
• Experience with integration of technology and process and with working with new trends/Industry 4.0
• Experience with developing/setting direction for front-end engineering projects
• Relevant job experience from SMV within pharma/biotech or from large companies within consulting engineering, consulting or pharmaceutical companies
