Construcion & Conversion Engineer

Tasks:

• are responsible, together with the team, for the design and engineering of DEME’s new floating equipment, such as: dredging vessels as well as for conversions of such equipment.
• assure our reputation in the industry by implementing marine innovations and newly designed dredging techniques.
• are responsible for the follow-up of the engineering and can make the necessary adjustments.
• look after the actual construction of the vessel at the shipyard, when the engineering part is finished. You ensure a timely completion and a good start-up.
• make sure to follow-up during the technical guarantee period with the crew in order to make the necessary improvements and to get enough input for your next projects during

Profile:

• hold a master’s degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical or marine engineering.
• are willing to travel and work abroad for relatively extended periods of time.
• are fluent both in English and Dutch. The knowledge of any other language is an asset.
