Your mission

As our new Accounts Receivable Lead you will join our Financial Excellence team located in Struer or Lyngby.

Your mission is to bring in your experience and curiosity into the team, take ownership of all accounts receivable-related tasks, and help monitor our outsourcing partner with a mandate to change to improve and help ensure high quality and meet the expectations of our stakeholders.

It is key for us that we outsource our routine tasks and transactions but keep the expertise and excellence in-house.

In addition, you will:

  • Be the process owner of the accounts receivable process
  • Be responsible for all accounts receivable related activities
  • Own the relationship towards our outsourcing partner in regard to the agreed deliverables
  • Monitor that our outsourcing partner meet your/our expectations as per the agreement
  • Ensure order releases have been conducted according to our deadlines by our partner
  • Develop our internal controls in this area and ensure ongoing monitoring and improvements
  • Own our customer master data process and help look for improvements
  • Monitor our accounts receivable, ensure completeness and accuracy in debtor provision
  • Proactively help improve our relationship with our internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the Financial Excellence team with your expertise and competencies

You will be joining our Financial Excellence team consisting of seven competent colleagues striving to do the very best to ensure smooth operations, high quality in their work and meeting deadlines. You will work closely together with your other colleagues within the finance community and the rest of the organisation in achieving our goals. Your location

You will be based either at our office in Struer or Lyngby. If located in Lyngby, frequent visits to Struer are also expected, approximately 20-40 days a year.

As a person, you are motivated by seeing the results of your work as well as engaging with others to build a winning team. You are trustful, diligent, curious and want to make an impact. Your approach is self-starting, and you enjoy engaging with stakeholders on all levels of the organization. Finally, we hope you also enjoy a good sense of humour.

Moreover, you bring:

  • Preferable an education within Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or similar
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience from an international business
  • Comprehensive SAP skills
  • Experience in closing and reporting processes
  • Preferable experience with outsourcing and monitoring
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong competencies in Excel
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
