Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Bartender/Barista to join its team. As a Bartender/Barista, you organize and prepare the bar area, as well as creating creative alcohol or non-alcohol beverages according to guests’ needs and expectations with care by following the company’s SOPs. The Bartender/Barista reports directly to the Assistant F&B Manager. At Grecotel, we believe that our people are the cornerstone of our success. Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Create and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and Grecotel's standards
  • Take food and drink orders from guests and deliver them with exceptional customer service
  • Assist with the set-up and tear-down of the bar area, including cleaning and restocking supplies
  • Provide recommendations and information to guests about menu items, including wine and cocktail pairings
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and guidelines

 

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Bartender/Barista in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mixology or coffee-making techniques
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their ingredients
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
