Assistant Project Manager – Building Construction (m/f)

KOP Brežice search for an Assistant Project Manager for Building Construction, whose responsibilities will include:

• assisting in project preparation and technical planning in accordance with project documentation, industry standards and construction contracts
• supporting the preparation of technical-commercial requirements
• participation in selection of subcontractors and suppliers of construction materials and equipment
• assisting in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
• collaboration with supervisory authorities and client’s technical staff
• operational management of the project team, including smaller construction sites
• daily work planning and assignment of workers to tasks
• reading construction plans and converting data to construction site
• managing construction documentation
• preparing and collecting data needed for the construction site measurement book
• calculation of executed works and maintaining the site’s measurement book
• preparing documentation for technical inspections
• preparing change orders for entry into project information database
• micro-organization of the construction site and daily reporting to site management
• ensuring quality execution of construction and finishing works
• monitoring and supervision of workforce and working groups
• reporting daily status of the construction site to management
• performing other tasks assigned by supervisor

• at least 1 year of experience as a civil engineer / in building construction projects
• post-secondary non-tertiary education (technical / civil engineering diploma or equivalent)
• driving licence category B
• ability to manage people and processes
• strong organizational and leadership skills
• good written and verbal communication skills
• ability to handle conflict situations
• professional certificate in construction management (certified by appropriate chamber or registry, desired but not mandatory)

direct permanent conract

Fixed monthly salary starting from €2,500 gross per month (initial compensation rate)
