For the Attitude Determination and Control team, we are looking for an ADCS Engineer. He/she will have the opportunity to become part of an internationally oriented and dedicated team aiming at providing exceptional Nanosatellite solutions to customers on the global market.

The ADCS team at GomSpace is responsible for doing simulations and system implementation for customer projects as well as customer training, satellite operations and development of new ADCS components.



The Job Incluces the Following Set of Tasks:

  • Maintain and develop ADCS functionalities
  • Design and validation of attitude and orbit controllers
  • Design and validation of attitude and orbit determination techniques
  • Assist project teams and sales in attitude and orbit simulations
  • Software implementation of ADCS on the GomSpace platform
  • Sensor and satellite calibration and data fitting

We expect the Employee to Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Experience with nanosatellites
  • Experience with control theory and dynamic systems
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
  • Strong knowledge about sensor fusion and sensor calibration
  • Experience in embedded software, C and Python

We are looking for a profile with at least 3-4 years of working experience of the above mentioned tasks/areas. You may have gained this experience from a job within New Space or a related area using the same techniques/skills, but may also have gained them from comprehensive work on a student satellite.
