Restaurant Hos Moi

We are located on the sunny side of Fiskebrygga in Kristiansand and have a unique restaurant with original interior and art by Kjell Nupen.

 

Our brasserie has space for 60-80 people, a separate chambre séparée for 8-10 people, a separate Seaside room with unique proximity to the sea and, in addition, a separate Gazebo with its own lounge style.

 

Our outdoor seating reflects the soul of Moi's own garden with lots of herbs, fruit trees and trellised berry bushes.

 

Red Dot Wine Bar 

Our company also has a wine bar! Our "Red Dot Wine Bar" its own entrance towards the "cultural route" at the back of the restaurant. Here you will find a rich selection of treats from all over the world with a focus on classic wine regions.


Separate Chambre séparée with room for 12 people with a fantastic view to our large wine cellar. We also have our own Champagne lounge on the 2nd floor with seating areas and a laid-back atmosphere in lovely surroundings.

 

Our Food 

We serve international brasserie food with the main elements of local ingredients of top quality, but also treats from all over the world, but mostly inspired by French cuisine.

 

Wine focus 

We have a deep commitment to wine! Our extensive wine list counts with more than 1000 different wines from different appellations and regions focusing on Classic regions, but also contemplating the challenges for wine in the future. 

We have won 2 glasses from the Wine Spectator since we open, and were nominated to 5 different categories: Best newcomer, best medium size wine list, best Austrian list and best sparkling list.

Chefs 

Do you want to be part of our team? We are looking for chefs/kitchen assistants for the summer season of 2024. To deliver great experiences at Moi on the fishing pier in Kristiansand, we need skilled individuals. Good humor, flexibility, efficiency, and thoroughness are the key factors for success! We are looking for someone who enjoys a busy everyday life, is a team player, and steps in where needed.

 

We are seeking a chef for the summer season of 2024.

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Start date: May 1, 2024.

Position: Chef / Kitchen Assistant.

Work schedule: Shifts.

Type of employment: Temporary / Seasonal.

Working hours: Day / evening.

Working days: Monday through Sunday.

Languages: English / Norwegian.

Salary to be negotiated on favorable terms.

 

Requirements:

Punctual, flexible, friendly, responsible, and able to handle the job in a hectic environment; we are a popular and very busy restaurant during the season.

Handling cleaning, dishwashing, working according to IK food and HACCP standards, preparing food according to our recipes and philosophy.

Minimum 20 years old with experience in similar work and/or a professional certificate.

As a chef, you report to the head chef, follow a schedule, and should expect to work evenings and weekends.
