Vascular surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Surgeon to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of vascular conditions, performing surgeries, and providing comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform vascular surgeries, including but not limited to, endovascular procedures, bypass surgeries, and aneurysm repairs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in vascular surgery.

• Norwegain authorization as a vascular surgeon.
• Strong surgical skills and proficiency in both open and endovascular techniques.
• If you do not currently speak Norwegian, you must be willing to learn the language and achieve minimum B2 level (written and spoken) prior to employment. The hospital can assist with language training.

• Positive and flexible attitude and good communication skills.
• Good academic judgement and work in a structured, goal oriented way.
• Must show professional competence, trust and respect.
• Interest in professional development and contribute towards development of a good workforce and environment.
• Ability to work in teams.

• You will have the oppertunity to visit congress/courses 10 days pr. year with full salary and specialists have educational leave with full salary for 4 months every 5th year.
