Complex solutions need strong both junior and senior Test Analysts to drive the quality efforts and help deliver a world-class software to customers that is defect free and fit for purpose.
As a Test Analyst you will define and prioritize the detailed test cases derived from the User Acceptance Criteria and record them in the test case management system.
You will execute the test cases, monitor the test coverage, evaluate the overall quality experience when executing the test plan and report test progress and defects, weaknesses and usability issues.
You will be a hands on collaborative member of the Scrum team. You will be engaged in planning and design, effectively and efficiently, finding the defects and weaknesses in the solution. You will see the internal voice of the customer for the team, keeping the team honest about the quality and effectively execute integration testing and all testing phases of the development life cycle.
You have tested systems before, and you will do it again. Only this time you will take your skills and your team around you to the next level.
Key tasks and responsibilities
• Deliver detailed and prioritized test plans which meet the Testing Strategy and Product vision;
• Define and prioritize acceptance test cases that meet the User Story acceptance criteria and execute the test cases during Sprints, reporting any errors in a timely manner to allow for a successful Sprint conclusion on time and as planned;
• Identify, create and execute a regression package based on the test plan and the test strategy that ensures high product quality;
• Monitor test coverage and adjust the test cases as needed to ensure maximum integration and user stories coverage. Measure the effectiveness of testing and design using customer satisfaction data and issues reported in production.
• Deliver high quality automation within the next sprint that runs in any testing environment and has no failures caused by the test code.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
• Be an integral part of the planning and grooming sessions during Sprints. Review user stories and proposed designs with testability in mind and drive testability improvements in every solution.

Knowledge and skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ability to break down user story requirements and software designs into detailed User Acceptance Criteria test cases;
• A challenging and enquiring mind, curious about how things work and opinionated on how they are supposed to work;
• Technical skills sufficient to effectively influence design decisions as well as effectively communicate and debug defects with the software engineers;
• Strong understanding of software failures and faults and testing ERP domain knowledge;
• The ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You have intelligent risk taking tendencies - you are not afraid to fail, but fail fast, and learn from the mistakes making everyone around you better for it;
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, advanced degree preferred.
Experience
• 1-3+ years of experience in enterprise software testing and development;
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively, generate and prioritize test cases and understand complex systems;
• Experience with automated testing tools and automated testing frameworks preferred;
• Global ERP software experience preferred;
• Agile/lean work experience preferred.
