POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Trainer will deliver product training and technical topics to QlikTech customers, partners and employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Delivering high quality training to new and existing customers & partners, either onsite, offsite (seminars, customer/partner site) or online (virtual classroom)
- Develops, implements and/or delivers technical training as it relates to the organization's products
- Works with product development teams to update training materials and ensure accuracy and effectiveness of courseware and supporting materials to align with new product releases
- Facilitating learning using internal & external resources, documentation, Powerpoint, other handouts, activities and exercises.
- Identifying and employing successful training techniques, styles and methods.
- Following up on course evaluation and feedback.
- Contributing to the development of course curriculums
- Using creative, innovative, energetic delivery best practices to support an exceptional learning environment.
- Practicing continuous knowledge development when not in the classroom.
- Proactively learning new training material as it’s released to be able to conduct training.
- Promoting QlikTech and our product during training.
- Participation in advisory boards and supporting activities associated with Train the Trainers, in an international environment
- Works with product development teams to update training materials and ensure accuracy and effectiveness of courseware and supporting materials to align with new product releases

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Knowledge about relational databases, data modeling and SQL programming.
- Previous experience delivering technical training programs.
- Knowledge of data warehouses, OLAP technologies, BI tools, web development technologies (.NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and/or HTML, SharePoint...), Visual Basic, and Windows environment (security, Active Directory, other LDAP systems) is an advantage.
- Well organized

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor equivalent mandatory, in computer science or technology is a plus
- Master equivalent preferable
Languages
- Superior spoken & written Swedish and English in a business context is necessary.
Experience (technical, commercial, industry / product / functional expertise, etc.)
- 1-2 years of experience teaching in a techincal environment
- 1-2 years of experience working in consulting, support or training using technology, preferably relational databases, data modeling and SQL or Server/Scripting experience and skills
- 2-3 years general business experience
- 1-2 years of direct customer service experience
Job Requirements
- Mobility - 50%-75% of travel time required.
- Ability to stand for at-least 4 hours per day
