Sr. Mechanical Designer
The Sr. Designer mainly focuses on the mechanical content for carrying out the project in accordance with the approved plan of approach, in close cooperation with the project engineer.
The Senior Designer reports to the team leader of Mechanical Design & Simulation.
Tasks
* Responsible for the mechanical design of a project including assemblies, 3D/2D design
* Coordinating, supervising and following up on mechanical designs carried out by in-house and subcontracted designers
* Studying and analyzing the order, consulting with the client, project manager/project engineer, internal departments and suppliers
* Providing all the mechanical project information
* Solving incorrect constructions
*Indicating additional educational needs of staff
* Taking on some tasks from the designer and project engineer
* Providing information for the drawing up of the technical documentation
Requirement wishes
* Bachelor or University
* Study: Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Experience: At least 3 years of in work operational experience
* Languages: English, German
* Controlling and following up on suppliers when it comes to technology, status and quality.
* Assessing quotes technical content and pricing.

* Good communication and social skills.
