DSP Valley is a cluster of Excellence in smart systems and embedded technology solutions. Its 100+ members are companies (from SME to large) and research institutions active in the whole value chain of micro-/nano-electronics and embedded systems.

For one of our members, GREENPEAK, we're currently looking for:

Sr. Embedded Software Engineer

 

General

As a member of the Software Team you are part of the GreenPeak core technology development team. You define the software architecture of future products. You implement, test, upgrade and maintain the software components on embedded platforms. Responsibilities include evaluating software requirements, architectural planning, detailed design, coding, unit testing, executing successful software system integration, ongoing product sustenance and quality control. You follow a formal software development process towards the successful completion of the project.

Your profile

  • You have a strong theoretical background and at least +5 years of experience in development of high performance embedded software and communications systems
  • You have solid, hands-on experience in embedded C programming
  • Experience with different microcontroller platforms is an asset
  • You are creative and efficient in debugging and testing embedded systems
  • You preferably have a solid knowledge of state-of-the-art wireless protocols such as IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee
  • Experience in embedded Linux development is a plus
  • You have an open personality and you do not fear direct contact with customers
  • Willing to (occasionally) travel worldwide
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English
